In a prime location in Monte Rojo, San Agustin we have created a unique bungalow with sea and pool views and easy access.
The bungalow have 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 guest toilet, modern fully equipped kitchen and a big sunny terrace where you can enjoy a dinner or just chill in one of the sunlounges.
Monte Rojo have a private tennis court that can be booked for free
In the area there are two padelclubs and easy to book private lessons or join other players for a active vacation.

To get to Gran Canaria we normally recommend to take a flight, from Northern Europe, Sweden and Norway it takes about 5 hours and 30 min to get here and amoung the companies who fly here you will find SAS, Norwegian, VING and TUI.
From mainland Spain you can go by boat but there are also several flights a day from airports in Madrid, Malaga and Barcelona with Vueling, Air Europa and Ryan Air.
Normally during low season it cost less then a train ticket to fly here.
The distance from the airport is about 20 km, which means about a 20-25 minute journey to reach Monte Rojo.
Taxi costs about 40 euros
Airport bus (no. 66 alternatively no. 90) costs EUR approx. 4-5/pp and stops just down the street at Monte Rojo/Shopping Center San Agustin.
The same thing if you want to take the airport bus on the way back. Times are indicated at the stop.
Rental car can be easily booked from home and easily picked up/dropped off at the airport. Prices very much dependent on the season.
Parking spaces are available free of charge on the street outside in the immediate vicinity of the apartment.

Monte Rojo
The Monte Rojo area was built in 1972. The area was built as a Sunwing facility.
You can still feel the atmosphere from that times when there were lots of activities in the area and entertainment day and night.
There is a larger swimming pool in the area as well as a smaller pool for children, a small supermarket with simple daily goods is next to the reception. Bar above the pool with simple snacks and of course cooling drinks.
In the immediate vicinity of the apartment is the San Agustin Shopping Center, which has a good selection of grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacy, cafes and other much-needed services.
The beach promenade from San Agustin to Playa Del Ingles is well used as a recreational promenade. Many walk all the way to the Faro (Lighthouse in Maspalomas/Playa del Meloneras) along the sea past the mighty sand dunes of the Sahara.
For those interested in sports, there are very good opportunities to play paddle tennis, tennis, golf, cycling etc. Monte Rojo has a tennis court. Directly adjacent to Monte Rojo is Gloria Padel (behind the Gloria Palace hotel) with 5 padel courts and a tennis court.
The Swedish school is about 10 minutes walk from the apartment in the Rocas Rojas area.
Fredrik and Linda have been traveling to Gran Canaria for more then 20 years together and to San Agustin, Monte Rojo for the last 15 years and decided to renovate and create a unique bungalow for people that want there vacation to be special.
